Uvisan is a pioneering UV company dedicated to providing industry-leading UV-C disinfection solutions. We were founded to meet the urgent need for safe, effective, and contact-free sanitization in shared tech environments.

From our UK base, we’ve grown into a globally recognized name in UV-C technology, trusted across sectors including education, healthcare, enterprise, and public service. Our commitment to innovation and safety ensures that we deliver cutting-edge hygiene solutions that protect both people and equipment.

How it all began

Uvisan was created by Immotion VR Ltd to provide safe storage, security and, vitally, disinfection for its fleet of VR headsets deployed across the world in their VR cinemas and entertainment venues.

Immotion had scoured the market for a product that would effectively disinfect VR headsets in quantity, and with the efficiency they required for their fast-turnaround sites. Finding nothing suitable, the company decided to develop their own products – cabinets ideally suited to the VR market, and Uvisan was born.
The brand quickly became a separate company and started selling UV-C cabinets to other VR and technology companies, growing quickly, initially as the extra safety requirements caused by Covid-19 developed, and then more rapidly as the workforce, schools, colleges and clinics returned to work.
Uvisan Ltd has attracted blue-chip customers including the NHS, Aardman Studios, Microsoft and more. Uvisan has become the leading UV-C cabinet brand for multiple VR headsets, and the UK based company now has warehouses in the UK, USA and EU, and resellers and distributors from Blackpool to Tokyo.

Where we are going

In 2023 Uvisan Ltd was bought from Immotion VR Ltd by a team of industry experts, and it’s now an independent business going from strength to strength.

Uvisan has continued to develop its range, introducing whole-room smart disinfection under its Cleanroom™ brand, continuous improvement in its core cabinet range, and now a more powerful and connected range aimed at the clinical and scientific markets.
Our goal is to make Uvisan the watchword for innovation, quality, safety and efficacy, the go to brand for the VR industry. Our customer service is personal, and our aim is to delight our customers.
